Our Environment Is in Danger!

Our rivers and streams are polluted with industrial waste. The Gulf of Mexico is contaminated with oil spill and dispersant chemicals that will find their way into all the oceans of the world.
The Pacific Ocean has a giant floating island of plastic and other waste material larger than the state of Texas, and now the "safe" nuclear power plants in Japan are pouring millions of tons of the most radioactive material known to mankind into it.
All the while, our industrial complexes are pumping co2 and other waste compounds into the air we breathe, while the corporate lobbyist in Washington are paying congressmen millions of dollars to to oppose any legislation that would help stop making the mess, let alone help clean it up.
As long as corporations are allowed to control congress and put profit ahead of the best interest of people, we will breathe the poison air, drink the polluted water, and watch the fish and wildlife disappear.
And then there's "Monsanto" altering the genetics of our food, and I don't even want to think about what "Dupont Chemical" is up to.
